EDUCATION ACCESS

School program

NO COST
Pro for educators. Free training for students.

Students who meet the account age requirement keep their own accounts and progress.

VERIFICATION REQUIRED · NO PAYMENT METHOD

In your classroom or club

Turn a position into a lesson your players can remember.

  1. Prepare

Bring a real position to the lesson

Import a game or choose an opening position, find the critical decision, and identify the plan you want your players to understand.

  2. Teach

    Explain why the move works

Keep the board, engine evaluation, candidate line, and plain-language explanation together while you work through the move.

  3. Reinforce

    Give players another attempt

Players can learn the idea, play the branch from memory, and review the position again when recall begins to fade.

Before you begin

Know how school access works.

Use Play With Theory with students who can hold their own accounts. Their progress stays private unless they approve Coach Hub access.

Eligibility
You can apply if you are a current teacher, school staff member, or representative of a recognized school chess program.
Student accounts
Students must meet the account age requirement in our Terms and keep control of their own accounts.
Progress access
Your educator access does not reveal student data. Coach Hub remains learner-approved and read-only.
School administration
Managed child accounts, district SSO, parent-consent flows, and school-wide reporting are not part of the program today.
